OUR SERVICES
Based in Honolulu Hawaii, we provide design services for commercial, institutional, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and utility-related projects. In addition to design, our team can also provide services for land use entitlements, regulatory approvals, bidding and procurement, and construction administration. With a strong presence throughout the state of Hawaii, our work draws on deep knowledge of local history to create culturally rich designs.
We also offer peripheral services such as feasibility studies, programming and space planning, architectural master planning and project management.

OUR HISTORY
The company was formed through the merger of two legacy firms: Erskine Architects, Inc. (founded in 2001) and Shimokawa Nakamura LLC (founded in 2014). Together, we have over 35 years of combined experience. Our success is driven by a diverse and talented team cultivated in the pursuit of great design across the built environment.
